Therapeutic Laser

Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation “LASER” employs the use of a laser beam to activate certain areas of the body in order to gain very specific types of therapeutic response.

Therapy laser is a noninvasive procedure that works using a variety of methods.   The laser light penetrates deeply into the tissue providing an anti-inflammatory response by causing vasodilation (widens the blood vessels) and activates the lymphatic drainage system.  This process creates a reduction in swelling caused by bruising or inflammation.  The laser light also stimulates collagen which is an essential protein required to replace old tissue or repair injuries by accelerating cell reproduction and growth.  This process promotes faster wound healing and reduces the formulation of scar tissue from lacerations, burns, and surgical procedures.
